Welcome to the TIDE board. Our goal is to build a virtual community. While you can find elements of Torah Im Derech Eretz everywhere, you likely don't live in a place that has a pure TIDE community. Let us build a community online (and supplement it with get togethers).
Obviously the requests for civility that one sees on boards everywhere apply here too. I don't really expect it, but may do a little censoring if the tone gets too out of hand. Certainly, we can't have any outright lashon hara. But at the same time, you should feel free to speak your mind about TIDE topics.
Important note: the software for this board is hosted by freeforums.net. Thus, it is remotely possible, though maybe not probable, that the company shuts it down or something like that. I certainly don't expect this. So if you make a really good post, save a copy somewhere.
